Carolina Hotchandani was born in Brazil and has lived in most regions of the United Stated before settling, a few years ago, in Omaha, Nebraska, where she is a Goodrich Assistant Professor of English. She earned her B.A. in English Literaturefrom Brown University and Ph.D. in English Literature from Northwestern University. Her debut poetry collection, The Book Eaters, won the 2023 Perugia Press Prize for first and second poetry books. She has receivedfellowships from the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference (Rona Jaffe FoundationAwards), Community of Writers, Tin House, and the Napa Valley Writers’ Conference. Her poetry has appeared in AGNIAQRBeloitPoetry JournalCincinnati ReviewThe Missouri Review, Poetry Northwest, Prairie Schooner, and West Branch, among other journals.

 

Joshua Mohr is the author of five novels,including Damascus, which The New York Times called “Beat-poet cool.” He’s also written Some Things that Meant the World to Me, one of O Magazine’s 10 Terrific reads of 2009, and All This Life, winner of the Northern California Book Award. Termite Parade was an editor’s choice on the New York Times Best Seller List. His memoir, Model Citizen was an Amazon Editors’ Pick. In his Hollywood life, he’s sold projects to AMC, ITV, and Amblin Entertainment.

 

Cintia Santana is a poet, translator, and interdisciplinary artist. A recipient of fellowships from CantoMundo and the Djerassi Resident Artists Program, Santana’s poems have been featured by the Academy ofAmerican Poets’ Poem-a-Day series and by Split This Rock. Her work has alsobeen selected for Best New Poets 2016 and 2020, and the 2023 Best of the Net Anthology. She is a Senior Lecturer in ComparativeLiterature at Stanford University, where she teaches fiction and poetry workshops in Spanish, as well as literary translation courses. Her first poetry collection, The Disordered Alphabet, was published in September by Four Way Books. 

 

Sam Sax is the author of PIG (2023, Scribner), Yr Dead (2024, McSweeney’s), Madness, and Bury It. Sam’s received fellowships from the NEA, Poetry Foundation, the Academy of American Poets, and Yaddo, and is currently serving as an ITALIC Lecturer at Stanford University.

Peter Kline is the author of two poetry collections, Mirrorforms (Parlor Press/Free Verse Editions) and Deviants (SFASU Press).  A former Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford University, he has also received residency fellowships from the Hemingway House, Amy Clampitt House and James Merrill House.  His poetry has appeared in PloughsharesPoetryTin House, and many other journals, as well as the Best New Poets series, the Verse Daily website, the Random House anthology of metrical poetry, Measure for Measure,and the Persea anthology of self-portrait poems, More Truly and More Strange.  Since 2012 he has directed the San Francisco literary readingseries Bazaar Writers Salon.  He teaches writing at the University of San Francisco and Stanford University, and can be found online at www.peterklinepoetry.com.
