Bazaar is turning 25! We need your help to celebrate this milestone, and to make it to the next 25 years.
So many people discover the biscuits, the specialty dalgona lattes, or the music at open mic, and say, “Wow! I had no idea you were here.” Others say, “I’ve lived here for 10 years and I’ve never come in before.” We want to change that, and make Bazaar a less well-kept secret in the neighborhood.
WHAT DO WE WANT TO IMPROVE?
We want to: refresh what is old and breaking down; streamline our food & drink production; and provide a top-tier space for local musicians and artists to perform and share their work.
Highest Priorities:
$25,000 will help us to:
Paint the Building – we would love to have a better presence on California Street to draw in more neighbors! (remember, day-Bazaar pays for night-Bazaar!)
Add New Awning and Lighting – Better lighting will help us operate on show nights, and draw more of a crowd into the café.
Fix the Wood Floors – Our floors have character, but they need some help for us to keep serving safely.
Stretch Goals for any amount we raise over $25,000
Better Sound Setup – We want to (whisper)-amplify our performances better!
Garden Patio Improvements – Fixing the patio and removing old trellises to create a more welcoming and functional outdoor space.
Kitchen Upgrades – Adding a wine fridge, shelving, and coffee&food equipment.
Help Us Preserve Bazaar Café as a Community Space in the Richmond.
