A singer-songwriter originally from foggy San Francisco, CA now living in urban Portland, OR, Ariel has been playing music all up and down the West Coast for over 10 years. Her ethereal and haunting music is inspired by her natural surroundings, and by the depth and complexity of emotion humans experience navigating this strange world.

Often describing her songs as similar to “a walk in the woods at dusk,” Sara Gallagher is a folk artist who creates delicate works of processing and change. Much like her artwork, her songs are inspired by the shifting of internaland external landscapes–and what it means to live within them.
